Today, at 5:19pm Station 64 and mutual aid were dispatched to the 1600 block of Cold Springs Road for reports of a brush fire. Chief 64, Deputy 64, Battalion 64, Engine 64-2, and Engine 64-5 made the response. Chief 64 arrived on scene with a working brush fire. Brush 62 and Berks Tanker 6 were requested to assist. Engine 64-2 deployed two hand-lines and began fire suppression while Engine 64-5 and Berks Tanker 6 fed water to the scene. Brush 62 assisted with mop-up.
