| This afternoon, Station 64 and mutual aid responded to a reported building fire in the 900 block of East Schuylkill Road. Montco Assistant 69 arrived on scene with nothing showing from the alpha side of the building. Engine 64-2 (crew of 4) arrived on scene as the first due engine, and Montco Ladder 69 arrived as the first due ladder. Crews removed a smoldering pile of clothes from a dryer and scaled the incident back to Engine 64-2 and Ladder 69. Engine 62-5 remained in station in case more apparatus was needed. Once the smoke was cleared from the building, it was turned back over to the owner, and the assignment was made available. Crews were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
