Last night, at 11:15pm station 64 was dispatched to the 1400 block of South Hanover Street for reports of an auto accident with fire and reports of one person trapped. Chief 64, Deputy 64, Rescue 64, Engine 64-5, and Traffic 64 made the response. Rescue 64 arrived on scene with a vehicle fully involved and no occupants trapped. Rescue 64 began fire suppression and had the fire under control in approximately 3 minutes after on-scene arrival. Goodwill Ambulance transported one patient to a local hospital. 64 units remained on scene for approximately 1 hour before returning to quarters.
