Last evening, while your Norco firefighters conducted our weekly training, Tower 64 was requested to assist Montgomery County Station 69 on a working apartment fire in the 300 block of Beech Street, Pottstown Borough. Originally dispatched as a fire alarm, 69 units arrived on location with fire showing from a second-floor window. First arriving units were able to quickly contain the fire to the original apartment. Tower 64 responded immediately at dispatch with a crew of 6 to assist. 64 personnel assisted with mop-up and overhaul before returning available. A second crew remained in station in case of a second emergency.
